General Manager, Housing and Property

Kristie Looney

Kristie is an experienced leader within the not-for-profit, social enterprise and social service sectors working at the forefront of cross-sectoral collaboration to drive positive change.

Kristie has a depth of experience creating partnerships across business, philanthropy, government and the social sectors. She leads strategic decision making and brings together diverse teams to develop practical solutions to end homelessness.
 
Kristie was the co-founder of a social-enterprise real estate business that generates profit to build homes for women and children at risk of homelessness. She applies her leadership and governance skills as a not-for-profit board member with Tenants Victoria.
 
Kristie has a passion for social justice and a strong commitment to redressing inequality in the housing sector. 

Head of Housing Strategy & Asset Planning

Jan Berriman

Jan has extensive experience in executive positions within not-for-profit organisations in urban, regional, rural, and remote contexts within Australia.

She brings a wealth of experience to her role, most recently as the Director National Housing for YWCA Australia group and previously Chief Executive Officer of YWCA Victoria and CEO and Company Secretary of the YWCA Housing group. In December 2020, Jan was awarded the Sector Leader by PowerHousing Australia, in recognition of her long-term dedication and commitment to delivery of community housing for people experiencing homelessness or housing stress.

Jan is leading the preparation of Uniting Housing’s bid in response to the  Victorian Government’s Big Housing Build program and development of our asset management strategy for the housing portfolio as part of implementing the joint Making Housing a Priority strategy.

Senior Manager Housing Services

Louise Daniel

Louise is a values-driven housing and property professional with significant experience gained across a broad range of housing and property organisations in the private, government and not for profit sectors. 

She has extensive experience in the delivery of housing programs focused on improving the lives of vulnerable people. 

Louise brings a wealth of knowledge in residential and commercial property management, asset management and planning, housing compliance and regulation and community development.

Senior Manager Property Development

Lynne Jarman

Lynne leads our development team which is working on a range of exciting new social and affordable housing projects around Victoria.

With more than 25 years’ experience working on property, projects and town planning in both the public and private sectors, Lynne is a wealth of knowledge.
 
Prior to joining Uniting Housing, Lynne worked with Homes Victoria to deliver public housing estate renewals and source new development sites as part of the Big Housing Build.

Ashleigh Storey

With nearly a decade of expertise in the property industry, Ashleigh boasts a comprehensive background that has seen her

manage statewide and nationwide property portfolios for major retailers, commercial operators, and publicly listed companies.

With a legal background as her foundation, Ashleigh has extensive experience in retail leasing, commercial leasing, and complex property transactions.

She applies her abundance of knowledge in these areas to optimise the performance of the Uniting property portfolio.

Her adeptness in complex negotiations, coupled with her wealth of experience in leasing and property management, reflects a versatile skillset refined throughout her years working in the property industry.

Senior Manager Asset Management

Micah Jacob

Micah is highly experienced in Facilities Operations & Building Management within Commercial and Retail industry in Soft Services

and Hard Services.

Skillset based on within environments such as Base Building Management, Tenancy Operations Management (Commercial & Business Banking Sectors), Service Centre Management.

Micah has managed broad portfolio which spans across Commercial Properties, Retail sites, Aged Care Facilities, Data Centres, Shopping Centres across 2.1 million m2 within Australia and New Zealand.

Micah is experienced in managing projects such as Lift / Vertical Transport Modernization, Mechanical Chiller Replacements, Commercial Office Defits, Commercial Office Re-location.

Development Analyst

Sheng Lin

Sheng is an experienced development manager with proven success managing residential and commercial property developments of various scales and purposes.

He has managed complex development projects from initial due diligence stages, the creation and updating of feasibility models, and site acquisition/purchase, execution of development agreement, through to design development and consultant engagement for development delivery.
