Uniting Housing is a community housing provider registered with the Housing Registrar of Victoria and the National Regulatory System for Community Housing.
We have a diverse portfolio of more than 900 homes we manage across Victoria. Some we have developed, some we have purchased, some we manage on behalf of others. Community housing tenants come to us via the Victorian Housing Register, and we advertise our affordable housing through realestate.com.au.
We are part of Uniting Vic.Tas and connect tenants to supports and services that help sustain tenancies and improve life outcomes.
Our portfolio
Bendigo
Early in 2026 we opened the doors to a new development comprising 73 apartments across three buildings on the historic St Andrews Church site in central Bendigo.
The development is in the heart of town and residents have easy access to the city centre, public transport, supermarkets, medical centres, schools and parks.
Designed by MGS architects and constructed by Hansen Yuncken, it is home to more than 130 people.
The project is funded by Homes Victoria as part of the $5.3 billion Big Housing Build, delivered in partnership with Uniting Vic.Tas, St Andrews-Axedale Congregation, Donors, and the Housing Australia Future Fund.

Wangaratta
On 28 February 2025, we opened the doors to 44 brand new community housing apartments on Templeton Street, Wangaratta.
A range of one, two and three bedroom units appeal to a diverse range of people including singles, families and people living with a disability. Its location offers proximity to key amenities including the city centre, public transport, shops and park.
The building provides much needed low-cost housing and integrates with the local area through architecture reflecting the area’s character and heritage.
The apartments are fully tenanted, with nearly all our new residents from the Wangaratta region.
These apartments are allocated to people on the Victorian Housing Register. These properties are managed on our behalf by Beyond Housing.
Heidelberg West
We’re excited to be managing community housing tenancies at Heidelberg West, a newly redeveloped Homes Victoria housing site on Tarakan Street, Heidelberg West.
There are 67 social housing 1-3 bedroom apartments being managed by us, neighboured by affordable apartments and townhouses.
Heidelberg West is close to public transport, parks, and shops. It’s also near schools and Melbourne Polytechnic. The site itself features great shared open space, including a playground, barbeque areas and a terrace garden. Heidelberg West has all the makings of a vibrant, thriving community.
These apartments are allocated to people on the Victorian Housing Register.
Sunshine
Uniting purchased 17 one and two bedroom apartments in Sunshine to lease as affordable housing for low-moderate income earners – an area of identified need.
These beautiful apartments are situated in the heart of Sunshine, close to all amenities including retail shops, schools, parks and public transport.
The apartments come with features including a centralised gas hot water system, air conditioning, electric ovens and cooktops and built in robes.
